Conference Updates

8/5/09: Conference registration is due Aug. 15 -- only 10 days left!

7/15/09: TODAY is the last day to book your room at The Cody, at our lower conference rate!  We only have 6 rooms left, so book now!

6/17/09: Registration is now open!

6/11/09: We still have lots of rooms available in our reserved block at The Cody.  When you make your reservation, call Maureen Harris directly at 307-527-3398, and make sure you ask for a room reserved under the "Western Association of Maps".

6/1/09:  We intended to have the registration form ready to go by today, but unfortunately that's not going to happen.  We are having some difficulty getting the field trip nailed down, most importantly on the issue of cost.  The field trip is the last piece we need to put into place, and we'll have the regstration form ready as soon as we have it finally nailed down.  We'll make an announcement on WAML-L when it's available.

5/21/09: We are still working to finalize prices for the banquet and field trip.  Once we have these, we'll post the registration form; we expect to have it ready by June 1.

Meeting Hotel: The Cody

The conference planning committee has reserved a block of rooms at The Cody, a new hotel in Cody.  Conference attendees may make their own reservations by contacting Maureen Harris, the Group Booking Manager at The Cody at (307) 527-3398.  Let her know you're with the Western Association of Map Libraries, and you will get a special group rate of $119/night.  You may also book through the front desk if Maureen is not available, but make sure you get one of the WAML block of rooms at the group rate.

The rooms will be released July 15.
